COVID Update - August 4, 2020
New restrictions in Victoria, and particularly metropolitan Melbourne, decree that we may not be open as a retail premises on-site. However, we are still operating ONLINE, and will be sending, delivering orders made ONLINE or over the PHONE. Our number has not changed - 1 8000 KAYAK, so if you need advice, just call.
Our NEW CLICK AND COLLECT will come into play - order online or on the phone and we can load your car with your purchases in the driveway - NO CONTACT.
the Victorian Government states " on site operations will have to cease for the next 6 weeks..... These businesses will all need to close by 11:59pm Wednesday 5 August. Retail stores will be permitted to operate contactless ‘click and collect’ and delivery services with strict safety protocols in place."
You can still exercise outdoors, and with one other person, in accordance with Health Department Regulations. However, you must observe all distancing rules and regulations, wear a mask, and only paddle with one other person. Exercise is limited to one hour, and must be close to home.
This is a great time to get your new kayak, or new gear, and get in some practice. Whether flatwater, or whitewater, you will be ready for the new season when we are released September 13, 2020.
