The Spirit 14 is our nod to the classic canoes of North America. It is 14-foot canoe reminiscent of the Prospector style canoes with curved bow and stern, rounded chines and slight rocker to allow good manoeuvrability . Whilst it has slightly reduced initial stability, it has excellent secondary stability and performs well in unsettled water.
The Spirit 14 is the Swiss army knife of our product line and is extremely versatile. It handles very nicely when paddled with a partner or on your own. It is also great fun to sail with our One Tree Canoe Lug Sails!
These canoes operate in our hire fleet and we have found them to be nimble and fun boats suitable for 1 or 2 paddlers and perfect for trips on lakes or rivers with moving water up to class 1.
