There was a time when running rivers was about the groove – the soul. Whether it was class 2 or class 5, it was about jamming like a soulful jazz musician, bee bopping your way down the river. Boof that drop, splat that rock, pivot turn that eddy line… spin off a rock, and carve up a wave. Somehow this has gotten lost with the arrival of high end freestyle, and off-the-charts class 5 river running. The theory goes that if its not a Kodak moment, then its not important. Perhaps if you’re some pro athlete, but for the rest of us – we just want to have a good time.

While this revisits the ideas of old, do not be mislead into thinking the design is old. If anything it’s cutting edge. The Ultra modern rocker lines and surfing hull make this boat slice and dice it’s way down rapids and across the fastest wave faces. Ample bow volume means it’ll skip over the water, resurfacing effortlessly below drops and through wave trains, while the slicy slalomesque tail allows you to pivot turn effortlessly – whether for pure fun or advanced boat handling mid rapid.
